Palestinian media reported on Saturday that two people were injured by Israeli fire north of Gaza City, citing the Palestinian Red Crescent.
The reports did not immediately say who the injured were or their conditions, or what prompted the Israeli fire.
The incident comes amid ongoing reports of Israeli military activity across the Gaza Strip despite a ceasefire that has been in place since October 2025. In recent days, Palestinian health and medical officials have reported continuing deaths and injuries from Israeli strikes and gunfire.
On Friday, medical sources told Anadolu Agency that Israeli army fire injured four Palestinians, including two girls, in Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Local sources said Israeli planes also hit a house in northern Gaza and fired east of Gaza City.
Earlier this week, Palestinian medical sources said more people were killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza City. In previous incidents, the Israeli military claimed that its forces were pursuing Hamas militants, sometimes without providing any supporting evidence.
The latest reported injuries could not be independently verified and there was no immediate Israeli military comment on the incident.
