Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters during an incursion into the Palestinian town of Beita, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian media reported Friday.
The reports said Israeli forces also used gas bombs in the operation and entered the town. Details about the size of the force, the reason for the incursion and any arrests or injuries were not immediately available.
The incident comes amid high tensions and frequent Israeli military operations in the occupied West Bank.
