Israeli military operations in southern Syria persisted, with Syrian media reporting on Tuesday that Israeli military forces had entered Al Rafeed in the southern Quneitra region and searched several homes.
It was not immediately clear from reports whether anyone was detained or if there were casualties or property damage during the searches.
In recent weeks, Israeli military operations have repeatedly targeted Al Rafeed. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Sept. 12, Israeli military vehicles entered the town and troops searched several homes, with no immediate reports of arrests or damage.
Syrian state media SANA also reported on Sept. 20 that Israeli forces fired four artillery shells into agricultural areas south-east of Al Rafeed; no injuries were reported.
The latest reported searches come amid ongoing Israeli incursions and military operations in southern Syria, especially in Quneitra and neighbouring Daraa province. Syrian authorities have repeatedly called on Israeli forces to withdraw from the area.
