An Israeli military operation in northern Gaza has left over 400,000 Palestinians trapped, according to the head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) on Wednesday.

Anadolu quoting eyewitnesses reported that streets in Jabalia refugee camp littered with bodies, with Israeli forces blocking medical teams from entering. Already, Israel has killed more than 41,000 people in Gaza in more than a year now and the genocide continues.

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini described the situation as “no end to hell,” with people trapped and forced to flee repeatedly due to evacuation orders, especially from Jabalia Camp. Many are choosing not to flee, knowing that no part of Gaza is truly safe.

Lazzarini also warned that essential supplies in northern Gaza are nearly exhausted, with hunger becoming widespread. UNRWA shelters and services are closing, some for the first time since the conflict began. He further cautioned that the Israeli offensive jeopardizes a planned second phase of a polio vaccination campaign for children.

“Children are the hardest hit, and they deserve a cease-fire and a future,” he said, as per the statement.

Israel genocie in Gaza continues despite a UN Security Council call for an immediate cease-fire as there is no end despite over 42,000 killings, mostly women and children, with over 97,000 injured.

The ongoing blockade has left Gaza’s population struggling with severe shortages of food, water, and medical supplies. Israel now faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its crimes in Gaza.
