Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday expressed deep sorrow over the demise of former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammad Ashraf Bedar, remembering him as a dedicated officer who rendered invaluable service to the force.
In a post on X, Kashmir Zone Police wrote, “All ranks of Jammu & Kashmir Police express profound sorrow on the passing of former IGP Shri Mohammad Ashraf Bedar. His dedicated service and invaluable contributions to the force will always be remembered.”
Senior police officers, colleagues and well-wishers condoled his demise, describing him as a professional officer known for his integrity, leadership and commitment to public service.
