Four teachers suspended in Ganderbal following communication from transit camp

Ganderbal: The Chief Education Officer (CEO), Ganderbal, has placed four government teachers under suspension with immediate effect following an official communication received from the Nodal Officer, Transit Camp Manigam (Assistant Commissioner Revenue), Ganderbal.

According to an official order issued by the Office of the Chief Education Officer, the action was taken in compliance with Letter No. TCM/SANJY/2026/173-77 dated July 7, 2026, forwarded by the Nodal Officer, Transit Camp Manigam.

The suspended teachers have been identified as Bilal Ahmad Sheikh, son of Mohammad Hussain Sheikh, a resident of Haripora, Kangan; Aabid Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Bhat, a resident of Manigam; Peer Mudasir, son of Abdul Rashid Shah, a resident of Wussan; and Gowhar Rashid Kulloo, son of Abdul Rashid Kulloo, a resident of Gund.

The official order states that all four teachers have been placed under suspension with immediate effect. During the suspension period, they shall remain attached as per the directions of the competent authority and will be governed by the relevant provisions of the service rules.

Copies of the suspension order have been forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Director School Education Kashmir, Nodal Officer Transit Camp Manigam, concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs), and other competent authorities for information and necessary action.

The order, issued on July 7, does not mention the specific reasons behind the suspension. (KNC)
