Palestinian hospital officials said Friday that at least one person was killed in an Israeli drone attack west of Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reported.
Officials said the victim was taken to a hospital after the strike in the western part of Gaza City. They did not immediately say anything else about who the victim was or whether anyone else was hurt.
Despite a ceasefire that went into effect in October 2025, Israeli military operations in Gaza continue. Palestinian medical officials continue to report deaths and injuries from Israeli strikes since the truce started.
The latest incident comes a day after Al Jazeera reported that Palestinian medical sources said an Israeli drone strike in southern Gaza killed a Palestinian man and wounded three others.
