‘Identify and Kill’ movement of Jammu Inc aims at ‘genocide of Muslims’: KEA

‘If Rohingiyas are to be killed, what about West Pak Refugees: Khan

Srinagar: Reacting sharply to ‘identify and kill’ statement of the Jammu Chamber against Bangladeshi and Rohingya migrants, Kashmir Economic Alliance Chairman Muhammad Yasin Khan said so called movement aims at “systematic genocide of Muslims.”

Khan who also heads the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation said Rakesh Gupta, President of Jammu Chamber has expressed ‘murderous intentions.’

“Why is Jammu Inc resorting to discrimination or is it simply a part of a conspiracy to eliminate Muslims from the map of Jammu and Kashmir as happened in 1947”

“How can you use words like ‘Identify and Kill’ in a civilized society and what is preventing the government from filing an FIR against this irresponsible statement which has come from a reputed organization of Jammu Inc,” Khan said.

Khan said if Jammu Inc feels unsafe due to Rohingya and Bangladeshi Muslims, why is it silent over the issue of West Pakistan refugees.

“Why is Jammu Inc resorting to discrimination or is it simply a part of a conspiracy to eliminate Muslims from the map of Jammu and Kashmir as happened in 1947,” Khan asked.

Khan said the statement seems to be part of the deep rooted conspiracy and that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti who is also the Home Minister must get a FIR filed in the irresponsible statement.

“Had such a statement come from Kashmir Inc, entire business community would have been labeled as terrorists and put behind the bars, but government is silent as the statement has come from Jammu,” Khan pointed out.

Khan said that the government’s failure to resolve the matter would drag the state towards another turmoil.

“Jammu Inc must introspect as what they have said because such a biased and irresponsible statement was not expected from our brethren there,” Khan urged.

Khan said Jammu Inc has started giving communal colour to a routine issue and this is bad and provocative and against the business interests of the twin regions of the state.
