Pak Man Trained To Fight in Kashmir, Flees To Afghanistan, Charged For ‘Terror’ In Germany

Srinagar: A Pakistani man is being prosecuted in Germany for alleged terror charges. He is said to have been trained “to fight alongside Jihadis in Kashmir”.

Alleged to be a recruit of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant outfit, Muhammad Aafaq I., had fled to war-torn Afghanistan after being trained in Pakistan to “fight Indian forces in Kashmir”.

A news report in Dawn.com said that German prosecutors charged the 28-year-old Pakistani man with membership of a “terrorist organisation”. However, it was not revealed as how Aafaq reached Germany if he crossed over to Afghanistan from Pakistan in 2011.
