Kashmir: Five suspected militant attacks in three hours

Srinagar: Suspected militants struck at five different locations across Kashmir valley on Tuesday evening.

The militants lobbed a grenade at a CRPF camp in Pahalgam in Anantnag district in south of Kashmir.

The unidentified militants lobbed the grenade at an armed forces camp in Sarnal area of Pahalgam. But no injuries were reported.

It was fifth such attack in last three hours in Valley.

In Tral town on Pulwama district, suspected militants attacked a battalion of para-military CRPF with a grenade injuring at least nine armed personnel.

Son after, the militants lobbed grenade at CRPF camp in Awantipora and a police station in Pulwama town.

In another incident, the militants attacked police station Pulwama in which two Jammu and Kashmir police cops were injured.

Two policemen were injured after militants attacked cops guarding the residence of Justice (retd) Attar Hussain in Anantnag.

The militants decamped with four rifles of the guards.
