LeT denies having ties with ‘Hindu Militant’ Sandeep Sharma

Lashkar-e-Toiba disowns Hindu militant Sandeep Kumar

Srinagar: Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba has denied having any ties with Sandeep Kumar alias Adil and Shakoor, who the Jammu and Kashmir police, on Monday, claimed was a close aide of slain Lashkar-e-Toiba commander Bashir Lashkari.

“Sandeep Kumar, who belongs to Uttar Paradesh, has no links whatsoever with Lashkar-e-Toiba. This is nothing but a conspiracy put up by Ajit Doval and his propagandist team, so as to try to sabotage Kashmir’s freedom struggle. Indian government, its establishment and agencies have gone rogue and dismayed over the alliance between Kashmiris and Mujahideen, which was evident from the Burhan Wani’s martyrdom day, observed on July 8th, 2017,” Mehmood Shah, the LeT chief said in a statement to news agency CNS.

He said that India is rendering the Valley into an Army Camp while constant imosition of curfews and forbidding public in paying their tribute to Burhan Wani shows India’s barbarism and biasness. But still, Kashmiris and Mujahideen are on the same page and united for the cause of Freedom against ‘tyrant’ India.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Muneer Ahmad Khan, on Monday addressing a press conference at Police Control Room in Batmaloo, Srinagar, had said that they have busted a module of Lashkar-e-Toiba by arresting Sandeep Kumar, alias ‘Adil’, a Hindu aide of Bashir Lashkari, a resident of the Muzaffarnagar area of Uttar Pradesh.

The top cop had said that Sandeep was also involved in militant attack on policemen in Achabal that left six cops, including an SHO dead. “He was also involved in bank robbery cases.”
