NIA raids 16 locations in Kashmir and Delhi, Arrests 2 alleged stone-pelters

SRINAGAR: India’s central agency established to combat terror, National Investigation Agency (NIA), Wednesday raided at least 16 locations in Kashmir and Delhi on traders who were allegedly indulging in hawala operations and using the money for ‘funding terror’ and ‘separatist activities’, officials said.

Officers of the National Investigation Agency swooped down on traders at various parts of Srinagar and North Kashmir this morning and carried out extensive search operations at suspected locations, reports said.

Continuing its ongoing probe into the alleged terror funding case as many as five traders in old Delhi were also raided by the NIA officials.
