Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan on Thursday convened a high level officers’ meeting to review the arrangements for the upcoming musical concert of Adnan Sami at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC).
“In order to boost tourism in the valley, the Government is organizing a musical concert by award-winning singer Adnan Sami on the banks of Dal Lake on October 07, 2017 at SKICC,” he said.
Reviewing the security arrangements, the Divisional Commissioner asked for sensitization of fool-proof security in and around the venue.
Other arrangements which were discussed include arrangement of proper seating, installation of CCTV cameras, barricading, PAS, Additional Water tankers, fire tenders, mobile toilets, sanitation in and around the venue, cleanliness around the Dal Lake embankments.
He further directed PDD & PHE for uninterrupted Power & water supply in the venue. He also directed Health department to deploy medical camp with proper staff, ambulance and Medicare facilities.
Div Com directed all concerned departments including DC office Srinagar to keep their offices open during all Holidays upto the culmination of this event.
