‘Won’t claim for a clean chit until K-issue is resolved’
Srinagar: Awami Itehaad Party (AIP) president and MLA Langate Engineer Rasheed on Friday submitted his property and bank documents at National Investigation Agency (NIA) headquarter at New Delhi.
Rasheed, as per his statement said that he submitted his property and bank documents before NIA after a day long questioning.
“Truth always prevails but I will never claim a clean chit until Jammu and Kashmir issue is resolved,” he said.
He also said that he will return to Valley on tomorrow (Saturday).
Rasheed was questioned regarding the alleged terror finding in Kashmir. Several pro-freedom leaders continue to remain under NIA custody while various business leaders and Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association president, Mian Abdul Qayoom were also questioned by NIA.
The NIA later gave a clean chit to Mian Qayoom after questioning him at its New Delhi headquarters.
