Urges Govt to fulfill their demands
Srinagar: JK Handicapped Association observed world disability day in Anantnag. Members of the association participated in huge numbers.
Some members while talking to media said that the Government has failed to fulfill fill their long pending demands for safeguarding rights of specially abled people.
Some members urged on the govt to direct all concerned departments to help and extend support to the specially abled people.
District president Anantnag, JK Handicapped association, Javaid Shergojri said, “We are living miserable life. Our members are sidelined everywere. He said some people are playing with the sentiments of Handicapped persons and are minting money in the name of Handicapped people.”
He appealed to the administration to play a role in protecting rights of Handicapped people.
Later a protest rally was organised by the members of Handicapped Association from Achabal adda to Lal Chowk Islamabad.
