Jammu: Mohammad Akbar Lone, a National Conference leader on Saturday raised Pro-Pakistan slogans in the Legislative Assembly after BJP members shouted anti-Paki slogans.

While talking to the reporters outside the house, Lone said, “I am a Muslim first. My sentiments were hurt when they (BJP MLAs) were shouting “Pakistan Murdabad” slogans. I couldn’t control my emotions and raised Pakistan Zindabad slogans.”

Earlier, Kavinder Gupta, the speaker of the house had said that the attack on the Sunjwan Camp in Jammu took place because of the presence of Rohingyas in the area. The whole opposition went up in arms and protested the speaker’s remarks.
