Srinagar: Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday slammed the the ruling dispensation of Jammu and Kashmir for their ‘non existent Kashmir policy’, in wake of conflicting statements by the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Union Defense Minister Nirmala Sitraram.
Mehbooba, a day earlier advocated talks between India and Pakistan to end the blood shed in the valley while as Sitaraman said that ‘Pakistan will pay for the attack in Jammu.’
Rahul, in a tweet also added that Narendra Modi is ‘dithering’ while soldiers are being killed.

On Tuesday, BJP, the alliance partner of PDP in the state also said that the time is not right for a dialogue with Pakistan as they are ‘supporting’ militancy.
The J&K BJP spokesperson Sunil Sethi also added that the Government of India will take a decision on talks with Pakistan and ‘others’ don’t need to interfere.
