Srinagar: In the Kangan area of Pulwama, a gun fight has started between militants and the armed forces, reported the news agency GNS.
At least two to three militants are believed to be hiding in the forest area.
SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam Choudary told GNS that a cordon-and-search operation was launched by a joint team of army’s 55 RR, police and CRPF at Kangan orchards following inputs about the presence of some militants.
