Cabinet Reshuffle: BJP to hold high level meet on April 25, to induct new faces

Coalition will complete its full term, Lal Singh to face action if situation warrants’

Srinagar: BJP plans to hold a high level meeting to decide the reshuffle in its part of coalition ministry after April 25 and induct some new faces in the ministry.

BJP National Vice President, Incharge J&K affairs Avinash Rai Khanna said,“A high level meeting will be held after April 25 next week to decide the reshuffle in the BJP part of the coalition ministry and induction of some new faces in the ministry.”

When asked to name the new faces likely to be inducted in the ministry, Khanna said “the names will be decided in the meeting only.”

In reply to a question on the anti-party activities of two sacked ministers Chowdhary Lal Singh and Chander Prakash Ganga, Khanna said, “Chander Prakash Ganga has not taken out any rally. As far as the activities of Chowdhary Lal Singh are concerned the issue will be discussed in the meeting and action if needed will be initiated.”

He assured the people of the state fast track development and said coalition is working well and will last its full term.

Amid speculations in national and local media about the resignations by BJP ministers KNS had quoted Ashok Koul, the state BJP general secretary (Organisation) as saying that no minister has resigned and all ministers are doing their routine work.
