FCIK delegation meets Finance Minister, discuss various issues related to industrial fraternity

Srinagar: A delegation of Kashmir’s premiere industrial body Federation Chambers of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) lead by their president Mohammad Ashraf Mir met the Minister for Finance, Labour & Employment Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and discussed various issues relating to the industrial fraternity.

Among them, the main issues discussed were extension in SRO 39, implementation of guideline regarding reservation of purchase of items manufactured by local industrial units, refund of GST paid by industrial units, refund of 33% of interest paid by unit holders for accounts restructured in 2016 & implementation of various announcements made by the Government in the recent budget especially waiver of surcharges for electrical dues to Sick Industry,flood period and turmoil of 2016.

Besides, the delegation urged the Finance Minister to pursue with the central Govt. for extending the incentives granted to north eastern states to the State of Jammu & Kashmir as well.
