Srinagar: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that the proposed rally of the Joint Resistance Leadership must be allowed so that Modi can hear the ‘Man ki baat’ of the people of Kashmir.
The Resistance leadership has planned a peaceful rally at Lal Chowk, against the visit of Narendra Modi.
Mr Modi all have been listening to your ‘man ki baat’ for years now. As you come here tomorrow allow us Kashmiris to peacefully gather at Lal Chowk so that you hear our ‘man ki baat’! It’s just three words Resolve Kashmir Dispute. @narendramodi pic.twitter.com/wy7haPwYYR

“We have decided to convey our message to Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi in a very peaceful manner. We wouldn’t address any gathering but carry placards with messages for the PM Modi,” said the Mirwaiz while addressing Friday gathering at the historic Jamia Masjid.
He said it would be the first test for both Delhi and J&K government as they should allow us to hold this peaceful rally.
“Second test for these two governments will be on May 21 when we are planning a rally at Eidgah to take a pledge to take forward mission of the martyrs,” he said.
