North Korean President Kim Jong Un renewed his commitment to full denuclearisation after the September summit between South Korea and North Korea was announced, AFP reported.

South Korean National Security Advisor Chung Eui-yong informed reporters that the two leaders would meet in the North Korean capital, Pyongyang to discuss “practical measures to denuclearise” the peninsula on September 18-20.

Chung had met Kim earlier on Wednesday to hand in a personal letter from South Korean President Moon Jae-in, wherein Kim had then renewed his commitment to denuclearization, North Korean state media had reported on Thursday.
