Birth of red heifer in Israel after 2,000 years sparks biblical prophecy fulfillment claims

A red heifer was born after 2,000 years in The Temple of Israel.

After 2000 years, a red heifer was born at the Temple of Israel on September 4, fueling claims of fulfillment of a biblical prophecy to “reinstate purity to the world and the rebuilding of the Holy Temple”.

The Temple Institute in Jerusalem had proclaimed its birth via YouTube, and stated that it would undergo “extensive examination” to determine if it is red all over.

The female baby cow, if found ‘blemish-free’ will be hailed as the ‘bringer of the promise of reinstating Biblical purity to the world”.

In Christianity and Judaism, there are narrations of a red heifer a predictive sign of the ‘end of the times’. The sacrifice of the red cow is set to kickstart the construction of the Third Temple in Jerusalem.

The Temple Institute among other worldwide groups had been set up to build the Third Temple on Mount Moriah, or on the Temple Mount.

The Bible says that after the birth of a perfectly red female calf, the Jewish Messiah will return.

A few theologians believe that the building of the Third Temple is linked to ‘Judgement Day’ or the “end of times”, which will trigger ‘the rapture’- where all living and dead Christian believers will rise into the sky and join Christ, while non-believers will be cast into hell as punishment.

Rabbi Chain Richman, who is the director of the Institute, says that the time is ripe to build the Third Temple, following the birth of the red heifer. “The appearance of a red heifer in these waning end times is a forerunner of the Messiah,” he said.

“Does this perhaps mean that the appearance of a red heifer in these waning end times is an indication, a forerunner of the appearance of the Messiah himself, who will officiate at its preparation?” Rabbi Caimen said, as cited by Brinkwire. “If there has been no red heifer for the past 2,000 years, perhaps it is because the time was not right; Israel was far from being ready. But now, what could it mean for the times we live in, to have the means for purification so close at hand?”

Earlier, The Temple Institute that kickstarted its Raise a Red Heifer breeding program three years ago with the intent of producing the heifer of prophecy. The frozen embryos of red angus cows were then imported and implanted in domestic Israeli cows by the institute.
