Srinagar: Leh town in Ladakh region was recorded as the coldest at minus 8 degrees as minimum temperatures dropped Wednesday following clear skies, the Meterological department said, as per a report by IANS.
It was followed closely by Kargil where temperatures dropped to minus 6.8. In Srinagar it was 1.4, Pahalgam minus 4.8 and minus 5.5 in Gulmarg.
Jammu city recorded 10.8, Katra town 11, Batote 6.9, Bannihal 6.4 and Bhaderwah 2.8 Celsius.
