Nobody knows into how many pieces India will be divided under BJP rule, says Abdullah

Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Patron of the National Conference has said that attempts were being made to divide people on communal lines and nobody knows into how many pieces India will be divided under BJP rule.

While addressing party workers at the Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan in Jammu on the eve of the death anniversary of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar, he added that the ‘country was going through the worst phase of history.’

“We have to stop this as soon as possible or else you will see destruction everywhere ahead. You will see blood everywhere because this regime is leaving no stone unturned to create an atmosphere of hatred across the country,” Abdullah said.

He said that the leaders of the BJP were no different than Britishers who also ruled India for 200 years by dividing people on communal lines.

“Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, who unfurled the tricolor from the ramparts of Lal Qila for the first time would never have thought that a dispensation would come and break his country into so many pieces,” he said. “Nobody knows about how many pieces BJP government will further divide India into.”

While referring to Bulandshahar incident, the NC patron said that it was very unfortunate that the CM of a state was busy watching Kabaddi match when an SHO was being killed by the mob protesting against alleged cow slaughter in Uttar Pradesh.

“Actually, the BJP leaders are ‘Daaku number 1.’ Only they’re responsible for every single killing in the name of religion,” he said.

Abdullah also hit out at the RSS leaders for what he said preaching hatred from the government institutions.

Earlier, Omar Abdullah, NC Vice President, reacting to the Bulandshahr incident where a mob attacked and killed a policemen over allegations of cow slaughter, stated that the killers would be eulogized by the ruling party as ‘heroes’, while in Kashmir, such people would have been called ‘terrorists’.
