JKLF Chief Malik released on bail, re-arrested, taken to ‘unknown location’, says spokesperson

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik was arrested on Tuesday shortly after being released on bail, said a spokesman of the outfit.

He said Malik, who was arrested during a protest on Monday at Budshah Chowk, was today re-arrested after being released on bail.

The spokesman said that Malik, who was lodged in police station Kothibagh, along with seven JKLF leaders, was today granted bail.

“Now Malik and seven others were taken to some unknown location,” the spokesman added.

He was detained on Monday after he tried to march towards Badami Bagh army base in Srinagar.
