Srinagar: In the clashes which erupted near the gunfight site in Pulwama, at least 11 civilians have been injured. In the gunfight, which erupted in Hajin Payeen village of the district, four militants of the Jaish-e-Mohammad were killed.
According to a report in the Greater Kashmir, eleven injured were brought to the Public Health Centre of Rajpora for treatment.
According to the report, 10 have sustained pellet injuries and one civilian has sustained a head injury caused by a stone. He was refereed to the SMHS hospital in Srinagar for further treatment.
Earlier, as soon as the news of militant killings spread in the area, youth took to streets and hurled stones on the forces. The forces responded by firing tear gas and pellets.
