Jaish claims responsibility of grenade blasts in Srinagar, Shopian

Srinagar: Militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed responsibility of two grenade attacks in Srinagar and Shopian districts on Friday.

A spokesperson of JeM Mohammad Hassan in a statement issued to news agency GNS claimed that three forces personnel were critically injured in the attack on the CRPF vehicle at Lal Chowk.

He also said that several forces’ personnel were critically injured in the attack at Gagran in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

However, police said that no loss of life or injuries were reported in the twin blasts.

On Thursday, in a grenade attack in Rajbagh area of Srinagar, three cops were injured and JeM had claimed the responsibility of the attack .
