Srinagar: Two people have been evacuated from the site of the avalanche that buried a police post near Jawahar Tunnel last evening in Kulgam, an official said via Twitter on Friday.
“Rescue mission is on at JT #Kulgam.Two persons have been evacuated so far,” police said on Twitter.

Earlier, an official had said that the rescue operation were being hampered due to strong winds and heavy snow accumulation. Ten missing persons which included six policemen, two fire service personnel and two prisoners had been trapped in the police post.
