Fresh spell of moderate snowfall, rain likely to occur in Valley from Saturday: MeT official

Srinagar: A fresh spell of rain and snowfall in the Kashmir Valley has been predicted from Saturday.

Reports stated that the Meterological Department said that moderate snowfall and rain is likely to occur in the valley from Saturday.

Srinagar city has recorded 0.2 degree Celsius temperature, Qazigund has recorded minus 1.0, tourist destination Pahalgam has recorded minus 4.1, the night’s lowest temperatures and Gulmarg has recorded minus 8.0.

While Kupwara has recorded minus 1.2 degree Celsius, Kokernag has recorded minus 0.4, respectively.

The Jammu city has recorded 8.5, Katra 7.4, Batote 1.0, Banihal 0.8 and Bhaderwah 0.4 degrees Celsius.

Drass in Ladakh division was coldest at minus 21.3, while Kargil recorded minus 20.2and Leh at minus 16.0 degrees Celsius.
