I belong to Anantnag, don’t know where Omar Abdullah’s home is, says Mehbooba

Srinagar: PDP Chief Mhebooba Mufti on Thursday while reacting to NC Vice President Omar Abdullah’s remarks about low voter turnout in Anantnag, the former Chief Minister said that ‘she belongs to Anantnag and people don’t know where Omar Abdullah’s home is’.

She also came down heavily on New Delhi after Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Shabir Shah’s daughter Sama Shabir Shah.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of an election rally at Kulgam, Mehbooba in response to a volley of questions, said, “After NIA summons to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and JKLF chief Yasin Malik, the ED sending summons to Shabir Shah’s daughter is very shameful for the whole country,” adding that, “Modi government is harping on Balakot strikes and atrocities on innocent Kashmiris.”

In reply to a question on Omar Abdullah’s recent remark over lowest turnout in Bijbehara, her home town and Anantnag from where she was elected to assembly last time by a margin of over 12 thousand votes, Mehbooba said,” “The whole Anantnag district is my home but don’t know where Omar Abdullah’s home is. Claiming victory is a frustration as it seems Omar Abdullah is not bothered about voters of Kulgam, Pulwama and Shopian districts going to polls in next two rounds.”
