Srinagar: At least six youth were injured after clashes broke out between protesters and Armed Forces in the Nowhatta area of Downtown Srinagar on Friday.
Reports said that youth pelted the forces with stones outside the historic Jamia Masjid soon after the congregational prayers ended.
They said the police and paramilitary forces deployed in the area retaliating by firing tear gas and pellets.
