Srinagar: The Chairman of the Hurriyat (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has appealed to maintain unity and vigil as mischievous forces are waiting to create a sectarian divide in the aftermath of the Bandipora alleged rape case.
In a tweet, calling it a crime against humanity, Mirwaiz said:
Fervent Appeal to all peple of Kashmir to maintain unity and vigil especially in view of mischievous forces waiting to create a sectarian divide out of this most reprehensible crime against a child which is indeed a crime against all humanity. All of Kashmir stands in unison…

Meanwhile, protests are taking place across the valley against the rape of a three year old girl in Sumbal area of Bandipora.
