Leaders of the Tirnamool Congress are like Kashmiri stone pelters, says Modi

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has said that the leaders of the Tirnamool Congress are like Kashmiri stone pelters.

According to a report by the Economic Times, Trinamool leaders, Modi alleged, ‘instruct’ their cadres to ‘attack’ the central forces and ‘chase’ them, as stone pelters do in Kashmir.

“Didi considers herself the supreme power in Bengal. She has forgotten people are supreme in a democracy. The arrogance of Didi and her leaders is so high that they do not even hesitate to attack our jawans who work continuously to guard us and the border. Her leaders openly order their cadres to attack the central forces and chase them away. The stone pelters in Kashmir do this,” he alleged while addressing a rally at Dum Dum on Thursday.

Accusing Mamata Banerjee of ‘abusing’ the EC and central forces, he said: “You (Mamata) have full freedom of dreaming to become the PM. But, you don’t have to abuse all institutions, constitutional bodies and our forces for that. It only raises questions on your credibility. How can you forget that the Communists also created similar situation for you which you have created for BJP workers now? Had the Election Commission and the central forces not ensured a free and fair election, would you hav would you have been able to win elections?… People keep saying why I mention security issues. This is not a municipal election. I cannot talk about lamp posts, water connections and open drains.”
