Suspected militants on Thursday hurled a grenade at the 25th BN CRPF camp near Tagore Hall in Srinagar.
However, there were no immediate reports of any injury or damage. Soon after the attack, forces cordoned off the area and launched a hunt for the attackers.
Meanwhile, a grenade was lobbed on a joint CRPF and police party deployed near police station Awantipora in which two civilians have been injured.
