Kupwara: Armies of India and Pakistan on Tuesday exchanged heavy gunfire in Tanghdar sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, reported the KNS.
An official said that heavy exchange of gun fire was going on. Intense shelling caused scare among the border residents. People were seen moving to safer places amid the rising tension.
However, there were no immediate reports of any loss. When last reports came in, intermittent cross-border shelling was going on.
