Srinagar: Bharatiya Janta Party chief for Jammu and Kashmir, Ravinder Raina on Tuesday was found positive for the novel coronavirus.
Reports said that following the arrival of his medical report, Raina was shifted to Narayana hospital in Katra for the treatment.
“Hello Friends, I was in Kashmir/Bandipura for 5 days after the assassination of BJP leaders Mr. Wasim Bari, Mr. Omar Sultan and his father in Bandipura by terrorists, today I had a mild fever, got the test done, COVID-19 + in the report Has come, No other Symptoms .. Jai Mata Di,” the BJP leader wrote on his twitter handle.
Raina accompanied by the Union Minister in PMO Jitendra Singh, BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav, the party’s national Vice President Avainash Rai Khanna, visited the residence of slain BJP leader Sheikh Waseem Bari, to pay condolences to the family. Bari, his brother and father were killed in a militant attack on Thursday.
Besides party members, many people including the family, relatives and neighbours of the slain BJP leader were present on the occasion, when the leaders were holding a condolence meet.
