Operation had been suspended late last night due to darkness
Srinagar: A fresh exchange of fire took place at the site of the gunfight in Kreeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district today morning.
The armed forces had suspended the operation late last night due to darkness, officials said.
A senior Police officer said that the operation was resumed at the first light today.
Heavy exchange of fire is going on right now, the officer said.
Seven persons, including two CRPF troopers, one Jammu Kashmir Police personnel, one Army solider and two local Lashkar militants have been killed in the gunfight so far.
