Srinagar: With the killing of one more militant during a gunfight between armed forces personnel and militants in Yadipora area of Pattan in north Kashmir, three militants have been killed so far and searches in the area are going on.
Official sources said that three militants have been killed in a gunfight and their identification is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier, an army officer and two personnel of JK police were also injured during the exchange of gunfire.
The gunfight in the area began after a joint team of Police, Army’s RR 29 and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Yadipora.
As the joint team encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them. The fire was retaliated by the joint team, triggering off a gunfight.
