Srinagar: An improvised explosive device (IED) was found on roadside near Arampora in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.
The IED, according to reports, was found lying under bridge on Kupwara-Sopore road.
Official sources said that the IED was detected by a joint team of police and army. Subsequently, the team stopped the vehicular movement and bomb disposal squad teams of the Army and police reached on the spot and destroyed it safely.
