Srinagar: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a militant associate in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Awantipora.
In a statement, police said that armed forces personnel have arrested a militant associate involved in providing shelter, logistics and other support to active militants of the area militants as well as in transporting of arms, ammunition.
As per the statement, arrested militant associate has been identified as Adil Ahmad Hajam, a resident of Ratsuna Tral.
Incriminating material has been recovered from him which has been seized for the record purpose.
Case FIR number 72/2020 stands already registered against the said person in Police Station Tral under relevant sections of law, the statement reads.
