Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Tuesday informed that 1,329 fresh COVID cases were detected in the last 24 hours, thus taking the total number of cases to 56,654. JK also reported 19 COVID deaths- 14 from Jammu division and 05 from Kashmir.
Moreover, 681 more COVID patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals, 214 from Jammu division and 467 from Kashmir.
According to the daily bulletin, out of 56,654 positive cases, 18,678 are Active Positive, 37062 have recovered and 914 have died; 174 in Jammu division and 740 in Kashmir.
The bulletin further said that out of 1270310 test results available, 1213656 samples have been tested as negative till September 15, 2020.
Till date, 52,7802 travellers and persons in contact with suspected cases have been enlisted for observation which included 34530 persons at home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 18678 in isolation and 60298 under home surveillance. Besides, 413382 persons have completed their surveillance period.
