Teacher suspended for ‘dereliction’ of duty, 3 others and SFC employee attached for MCC violation in Kishtwar

Kishtwar: District Panchayat Election Officer Kishtwar, Ashok Kumar Sharma on Friday suspended a government teacher posted at Chachalan Palmar for “dereliction” of election duty.

The teacher has been attached in the office of ADC Kishtwar during the suspension period.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar has been appointed as inquiry officer and asked to conduct a detailed inquiry into the matter as warranted under election rule.

Meanwhile, 3 other teachers of Chatroo Sub Division have been attached to CEO office for violation of the Model Code of Conduct. A SFC Field Supervisor was also attached to Div Manger SFC Kishtwar for the same reason.

The SDM Chatroo has been appointed as inquiry officer in this regard and asked to conduct inquiry and furnish the report within a week’s time.
