Baramulla: A military operation against militants has started in Wanigam Payeen village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
Official sources said that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF cordoned off the village following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
They said that as the armed forces personnel encircled the suspected spot, militants fired at them triggering the operation.
