Two army porters injured in cross LoC firing in JK’s Poonch district

Poonch: Two army porters were injured allegedly in firing from Pakistan side along the Line of Control in Poonch district, officials said on Friday.

Officials identifying the porters as Mohammad Giyas, 32, son of Mohammad Sulaiman and Altaf Hussain, 35, son of Wali Mohammad of Noor Kote, said that duo was injured as “Pakistan army fired at Bandi Post manned by army’s 5 Rajput.

They said both the porters were later removed to an army hospital for treatment. SSP Ramesh Angral Poonch confirmed the incident to a local news agency Global News Service.
