Bandipora: An 18-month-old boy died on Monday after drowning into a canal in Sodhnara Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
His body was later fished out by locals and taken to Community Health Centre(CHC) Hajin where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, a local news agency KNT reported.
Health officials have identified the deceased as Faizan Ahmad Ganaie, son of Ashiq Ahmad Ganaie, a resident of Sodhnara Hajin.
