11 civilians injured in grenade blast in Tral bus stand

Tral: At least 11 civilians were injured after suspected militants hurled a grenade at armed forces personnel in Tral area of Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.

SDPO Tral, Aijaz Ahmad said that in this incident, seven women and four male civilians received minor injuries and were subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A police official said that militants hurled a grenade at the SSB personnel deployed at Bus stand Tral.

However, it missed the intended target and exploded on the road.

Soon after the attack, the official said, whole area was cordoned off to nab the attackers.
