Srinagar: A man was killed while another was injured after being stabbed by unidentified persons at Dastgeer Sahib Shrine in Khanyar area of Srinagar on Monday late evening.
Reports said that some unidentified persons attacked the duo identified as Ziyaan Chisti, son of Mohammed Ashraf Chisti, a resident of Rainawari and Faizan Fida Bhat, son of Fida Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Ellahi Bagh, at Dastgeer Sahib shrine, resulting in the death of one person and another sustained injuries.
Medical Superintendent of SMHS, Dr Nazir Choudhary told news agency KNO that one among the duo was brought dead to the hospital, while another is being treated upon and his condition is stable.
