Srinagar: Six days after, the dead body of a Kashmiri engineer, who went missing during a glacier burst in Uttarakhand was found on Friday.
A resident of the Soura area in Srinagar, Basharat Ahmad Zargar was working as an engineer at the Rishi Ganga power project (130 Mw) in the Uttarakhand state.
According to a news report by Kashmir Observer, Shabir Ahmad, his brother, shared the news Friday afternoon.
“My brother’s body was found by NDRF near the power project at 2.30 PM Friday,” he said.
Pertinently the body of Basharat was found on the sixth day of rescue operations after flash floods in Uttarakhand.
At least 204 people are missing.
The death toll has increased to 37 people, out of which 24 are yet to be identified.
