Shopian: An Assistant Sub-Inspector of Central Reserve Police Force died after he fell from a two-storey building in Reshipora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on wee hours of Thursday, officials said.
A police officer Global News Service that the 48-year-old ASI, identified as Shyam Singh, son of late Dayal Singh, who was posted at 178 battalion CRPF Reshipora Shopain, fell down from a two-storey building.
He was shifted to SKIMS Soura where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, the officer said.
